Terms and Conditions
Welcome to DEFENCE RELOCATION SERVICES! By using our packers and movers services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before availing of our services.
1. Service Agreement
1.1 These terms govern the agreement between DEFENCE RELOCATION SERVICES (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”) and the client (referred to as “you” or “your”) for the provision of packing and moving services.
1.2 By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
2. Scope of Services
2.1 We provide packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and unpacking services as agreed in the service contract.
2.2 Any additional services requested beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse service for items that are illegal, hazardous, or prohibited by law.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 A confirmed booking requires an advance payment of 10%, which is non-refundable.
3.2 Full payment must be made upon Loading of items(If InterCity), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Payments can be made via cash, credit card, online transfer, UPI etc.
4.Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1 Cancellations made 3 Days prior to the scheduled date.
4.2 Rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 days in advance and are subject to availability.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 You must provide accurate and complete information about the items to be moved.
5.2 It is your responsibility to ensure the availability of parking, access, and permissions for the moving vehicle at both the origin and destination locations.
5.3 All valuables such as jewelry, cash, and important documents should be transported by you personally. We are not liable for the loss of such items.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, traffic, or government restrictions.
6.2 While we take utmost care in handling your belongings, any damage or loss must be reported immediately upon delivery.
6.3 Optional transit insurance is available for an additional charge. Without insurance, we are not liable for damages caused during transportation.
7. Prohibited Items
7.1 The following items will not be transported under any circumstances:
Explosives, flammable items, or hazardous materials
Perishable goods
Pets or live animals
7.2 Any prohibited items found will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
8.Termination of Agreement
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if:
You provide false or misleading information.
There are safety concerns for our staff.
You fail to make timely payments.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Any disputes arising out of this agreement will be resolved amicably through negotiation.
9.2 If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to Gurgaon court jurisdiction.
10. Amendments
10.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
