Local movers · Sohna Road corridor
The Sohna Road corridor — Sectors 47 to 66 and the Golf Course Extension — is dense with high-rise societies, and almost every move here starts with the same question: is the service lift booked? Ours is, before the truck leaves our yard.
On the ground
Every society on this corridor has its own mover rules, timings and lift procedures. Knowing them in advance is most of the job.
Lift slots in busy societies go fast, especially at month-end. We get the booking confirmed with your society office as soon as your date is fixed.
Moves within the same society or corridor are common here — short on distance, but with two sets of society formalities. Both ends get planned.
Most societies here restrict mover hours. The crew size is planned so the job fits the allowed window — not left half-done at gate-closing time.
Moving into a just-handed-over flat? We coordinate with the move-in process and carry protection sheets for fresh flooring and paint.

Good to know
Month-ends are the crunch: rent cycles end, possession letters land, and every society's service lift is booked solid. If your dates are flexible by even a few days, moving mid-month on this corridor gets you easier lift slots and calmer gates. If they are not flexible, book early — the lift slot, not the truck, is usually the scarce resource here.
The corridor's societies also differ widely in mover rules: some allow full-day windows, others restrict work to 10-to-5, and a few require the resident present at the gate for entry. We keep notes from every society we have worked in, so when you name your tower we usually already know its rules — and when we do not, we call the society office before quoting the schedule.
The paper trail
Written quotation before you book. Itemised packing list at loading, signed off by you. Lorry receipt when the truck leaves. GST invoice on completion.
Questions
That is normal on this corridor. We confirm the allowed window with your society and size the crew so packing, loading and exit fit inside it.
Yes — formalities at both towers, lift bookings at both ends, and the same packing list verified at delivery, even if delivery is 200 metres away.
Floor protection sheets and door-frame padding are part of the plan for new-possession moves, and heavy items are carried, not dragged.
For a local move, approximate ranges are: 1 BHK ₹6,000–10,000, 2 BHK ₹8,000–14,000 and 3 BHK ₹12,000–20,000. Floor, lift access and society timing rules move the figure within the range — the free survey settles it in writing.
Yes, it is routine on Sohna Road. If the basement height does not allow the truck in, we shuttle goods to it with a smaller vehicle or trolleys through the service route — planned at the survey, not improvised on move day.
